“Any way you cut it, Central Ohio is experiencing a real estate renaissance. Homes are selling fast and for higher asking prices.” – Columbus Business First
May of 2019 saw a 5.6% increase in home sales compared to the same month in 2018. Population growth has been sighted as the cause for growth in demand for houses in the area. However, limited inventory has created the current seller’s market.
Areas like “Upper Arlington, Clintonville, German Village, Hilliard, Dublin, Worthington, the Short North and downtown,” have seen at least a $75,000 increase in average sale price over the last three years.
A hot real estate market is not only great news for Columbus as a whole. This current market will benefit sellers… and their agents! There has never been a better time to become a real estate agent.
