How can I be sure a real estate career is right for me?Above all else, real estate is a customer service business. Why? You’ll be involved in what is likely one of the biggest purchases or sales in a person’s life. For that reason, we encourage a self-reflective review of your career objectives and what you hope to achieve. Discuss these issues and goals with someone who has first-hand industry knowledge, and then make your decision.

Class Offering Questions
Do I have to take all my classes at once?Once you’ve purchased classes with us, you have six months to complete them. Hondros offers multiple ways to take your courses, including: self-paced online courses (taken at your own speed), in-person classes, or livestream classrooms (held in real time from any device).
What is the difference between online and Livestream learning? Our online learning format is “self-paced,” meaning you can take courses on your own time, at your own pace. Livestream learning is instructor-led in real-time via Zoom.
Are there any similarities between online and Livestream learning?Yes! Both online and Livestream learning feature our expert-developed course material that you can take from the comfort of your own home.
What are the benefits of the online learning format? With our self-paced online learning format, you’ll go at your own speed through the courses. You’re not on a set schedule, so you can choose to take the courses anytime and anywhere with an internet connection. Our online course format features written material with recorded video of our experienced instructors mixed in to keep you engaged.
What are the benefits of Livestream learning? Our Livestream courses are most similar to the classroom learning experience, as they are taught by an instructor via Zoom in real-time. It’s a great option for students who benefit from an interactive instructor experience. With Livestream learning, you’ll attend class virtually with other students at scheduled times, just like you would in the classroom!
How do I know which learning format works best for me?When deciding between taking online courses, in-person classes, or livestream courses, it’s important to consider your learning style and personal schedule. If you require the flexibility to learn when and where you want, our self-paced online courses are for you. If you find, however, that you learn better from an instructor — and you have time to attend regularly scheduled classes or Zoom sessions — in-person or livestream learning is for you.
To complete classes, do I have to choose a certain way to learn? (via livestream classes, in person classes, or self-paced online courses)Great news! With Hondros, students are able to learn through a combination of all three learning channels — self-paced online, in-person classes, and livestream courses — in order to complete their pre-licensing education.
