Need another reason to stop procrastinating and finally register for pre-licensing courses? The real estate industry is still booming according to the National Association of Realtors. In a new report released last week, we learned that existing home sales increased 5.1% in March. Sales are up from a year ago as well.

The report continues, “Total existing-home sales, which are completed transactions that include single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops, jumped 5.1 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.33 million in March from a downward revised 5.07 million in February. Sales rose in all four major regions last month and are up modestly (1.5 percent) from March 2015.”

Sales jumped even higher in the Midwest. Sales increased 9.8 percent to an annual rate of 1.23 million in March, and are now 0.8 percent above March 2015. “The median price in the Midwest was $174,800, up 7.0 percent from a year ago.”

Current and future students of Hondros College should be incredibly excited to hear these statistics. The probability of students excelling in real estate increases as the real estate market continues to grow. This is a great time to register for your pre-licensing courses, especially because new licensees can get sales very quickly due to the market.

“My experience with Hondros College has been nothing short of amazing. I have one buyer in contract and two other buyers potentially purchasing homes within one month of completing the pre-licensing requirements,” said Hondros alumni, Emily Boyd.

Not only are we in the busy spring season for selling, but we continue to see growth in the marketplace. Take your shot at a rewarding career and complete your pre-licensing real estate courses in just three weeks. Register here to get started today!
