Hondros College aims to raise funds to grant a wish to a local child dealing with a critical illness
Westerville, Ohio (October 30, 2018) – Hondros College is no stranger to providing services that help people change their lives. This time, though, they’ve partnered with Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana to provide a life-changing wish to a local child dealing with a critical illness.
Hondros College will be raising funds to grant the wish of a local wish kid like Emma, 10, dealing with a form of cancer that affects soft tissue in the body. Emma’s love of water and big waterslides inspired her wish to go on Disney Cruise Line®. While on her wish, she hopes to build sandcastles, meet characters, and of course, ride the waterslides as many times as she can.
Make-A-Wish is an important part of a child’s treatment process in dealing with a critical illness. Hondros College is thrilled to partner with Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana to deliver this much-needed experience to local children and their families dealing with these unimaginable circumstances. Right now, only 1 out of every 2 eligible wishes are being granted, and that’s why help from Hondros College and other community supporters is so important.
