Congrats to Our December 2018 Instructor of The Month – Craig Gatzulis

We’re happy to announce the winner of December 2018’s Instructor of the month – Craig Gatzulis! This two-time winner of the Hondros Instructor of the month has been with us for 19 years. Before working at Hondros, Craig managed a real estate office for 10 years. There, he learned a lot from other agents and learned about the brokerage side as well.

Hondros’ ability to “stay current” has been part of what’s kept Craig working with us. He continues to describe Hondros as “innovative, family-oriented, and progressive”. He also appreciates the family and team-work atmosphere – as well as everyone he works with, including the students.

Craig is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the real estate industry.

Here’s Craig’s advice for new instructors:

“Make sure you know the material, engage your students, and try to have fun. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Feel free to ask questions and, if you don’t know the answer, don’t fake it.”

He acknowledges that perseverance is the true key to success, as he recalls a quote from Woody Hayes:

“Anything that’s easy, isn’t worth a damn.”

Effort, Craig says, is the main driver of success – more than the results.
