Hondros College would like to thank all our military personnel, both active and veterans, for serving our great country. We are proud to be a school that our past and present troops turn to for a new career. To recognize the commitment of our Veterans, we are offering a 15% military discount program on all Insurance and Real Estate Pre-Licensing Packages. Hondros College offers accelerated career entry programs and an environment that is a great fit for veterans as they navigate through the workforce.
The 2014 Military Appreciation Program follows in the footsteps of Ohio’s legislative initiative to help military veterans earn professional licenses and find jobs once they leave the service. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate for veterans falls at 6.8% as compared to the national veteran unemployment rate of 6.9% for women and 6.5% for men. John and Linda Hondros believe the working adult doesn’t just deserve a job: they deserve a dream career that offers personal satisfaction and reward.
“We are sensitive to the needs of military families and Hondros College focuses on assisting millions of Americans with a second or third career,” says John Hondros, Chairman of the Board of Hondros Family of Companies. “We are pleased to offer special pricing to both active military personnel and veterans as a thank you for serving our country.”
Post 9/11 Hondros Family of Companies hung an American flag above the entry way to the main Westerville location. This flag creates a symbol of heroic patriotism and commemorates those the U.S. lost on September 11, 2001, along with the soldiers who have given their lives to combat our freedom in the Middle East. When the last troop returns from overseas, Hondros Family of Companies will display this flag on a designated flag pole and will hold a dedication ceremony in its honor.
Hondros College is privileged to employ veterans from all military branches. Thank you to our instructors and staff who served as members of our Armed Forces:
