Hondros College Hosts Career Open House with Panel of Industry Experts

Panel of industry experts at Hondros College career open house
On September 23, Hondros College held their career open house at the corporate location in Westerville, Ohio. The school opened its doors to the public, featuring all career programs in order to give adults the opportunity to learn about the different professions from real industry experts.
This open house operated as a public forum panel discussion featuring the following industry educators and professionals:
- Incoming OAR President Greg Hrabcak – Greg is currently serving as the president elect of the Ohio Association of REALTORS and will serve as the president in 2015.
- Paul Workmaster – Paul is an insurance professional with over 40 years of experience as a life and health insurance agent. He is also an instructor at Hondros College.
- Barry Tiemeier – Barry is a self-employed appraiser and adjunct faculty instructor at Hondros College.
- Matthew Hickey – Matthew has over 10 years of personal fitness expertise and is a personal trainer and business owner. He is also the personal fitness training instructor at Hondros College.
- Rick Harrington – Rick is the owner of Patch Independent Home Inspections LLC with 10 years of industry experience.
If you have ever thought about a career change, this is the event for you. The open house gave every attendee a great “behind the scenes” sneak peek into what it’s really like to have one of these careers. Our panel of experts gave them honest insight into their careers and a lot of tips for success. And in true Hondros fashion, guests were provided delicious deserts and beverages throughout the evening.
“This was a great event and it was exciting to see people interested in real estate, finance, home inspection, insurance, appraisal and fitness training. I look forward to welcoming everyone into the business!” said Greg Hrabcak.
