Steps to Licensure - Ohio Title Insurance

General requirements

  • Cannot hold a Real Estate license at the same time as a Title Insurance License
  • Must claim OH as your home state
  • Hondros College suggests using CompuCram for Title Insurance (purchase here) until scoring >80% at least 3 times
  • Complete a background check at any FastFingerprints location.
  • Schedule your state exam on www.psiexams.com (100 questions; 2 HR limit)
  • After passing the exam, complete the application online at www.nipr.com
