Commercial Real Estate as a Career
Whether you are new to commercial real estate or you are still trying to decide if a career in commercial real estate is for you, this course will provide you with a foundational understanding of commercial real estate. In this course, you can start down the road to understanding commercial real estate, also referred to as investment real estate. It is worth noting that in the context of real estate, the terms commercial and investment are commonly used interchangeably. Do you report my CE completion to the state?
Yes. We report course rosters to the Ohio Division of Real Estate for continuing education. You still handle your Ohio real estate license renewal and keep your completion certificates for your records.
What CE courses does Ohio require for salespeople?
Ohio requires 30 hours every three years, including 9 hours of core. Our core courses cover Canons of Ethics, Core Law Update, and Civil Rights Update.
When is my real estate CE deadline in Ohio?
You certify completion on or before your birthday three years after your initial licensure date, then every three years after that.
How long should I keep my CE certificates?
Keep proof of compliance for six years. Ohio can audit your CE, and you’ll want certificates ready if they request them.
Can I earn a designation while I complete my CE hours?
