How many hours are required?

Insurance agents in the state of Ohio are required to complete 24 hours of approved continuing education every two years based on the last day of their birth month.

What courses are required?

There is a 3-hour required Ethics course for insurance continuing education. You may take any insurance CE course approved by the Ohio Department of Insurance to complete your 24 hours.

You are able to take your courses in the classroom or online. No final exam is required for online courses.

What is the attendance policy for my courses?

Attendance in insurance continuing education classes is mandated by the state of Ohio. Arriving late will prevent you from receiving credit for the course you are attending.
