Ohio Department of Insurance Selects Hondros College to Test Insurance Completions Submissions Process
December 13, 2012 |
Hondros College formally announced today it was selected by the Ohio Department of Insurance to test a new, streamlined process for the insurance continuing education completions submission process.
The Ohio Department of Insurance selected Hondros College as one of three education providers to participate in the testing of a new process designed to make it easier and more convenient for students to submit course completions and to look up license information online. The process eliminates the need for a third party compliance management system, which often delays the submission process.
“We are thrilled to be working on a new initiative with the Ohio Department of Insurance to streamline the insurance continuing education course submission process for our students,” said Tina Lapp, president of Hondros College of Business. “As an educator dedicated to serving the Ohio workforce, this initiative fits our focus at Hondros College of ensuring our students receive the highest quality education with options designed to fit the schedules of working adults.”
As of December, Hondros College students have direct access at http://www.insurance.ohio.gov to renew their license and view and print transcripts.
