At Hondros College, the health and safety of our students, instructors and employees is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the evolving concerns regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Message From Our President


The safety and well-being of our students, instructors, and employees remains our top priority. Due to the latest direction from the national health care experts regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Hondros College has temporarily closed our physical classrooms and on-site services.  Our courses are all continuing online, via Livestream and/or webinar.

Our team is available remotely to make sure all students have access to what they need and can be reached by e-mail at quality@hondros.com or by calling 1-888-HONDROS.

In an effort to protect the well-being of our students, staff, instructors and our communities, we are going to be temporarily suspending live classroom offerings effective Monday, March 16, 2020.  On-site classes will not resume until the risk for infection is diminished.

We are committed to helping all students throughout this time as you pursue your new career, complete required continuing education, or want to explore options with our student support team.  We have created additional options for accessing courses remotely including synchronous livestreaming of our classroom offerings as well as webinar options.  We have also added virtual instructor office hours available to students throughout the week so students will continue to have access to our highly valued instructors through video or phone in addition to our askaninstructor@hondros.com e-mail which is always available. 

During this time, we will continue to have our team available for you at 1-888-Hondros or at info@hondros.com.  For students looking for more information on our programs, we are taking our Open House events and making them available virtually so you can learn about career and education options remotely.

All currently enrolled students will be receiving additional information via e-mail and/or phone regarding options for moving from existing classroom offerings. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and provide updates as needed.  Please visit our website for FAQs regarding Coronavirus readiness at Hondros College. In addition, we recommend students visit the CDC’s website as a resource for prevention and treatment for COVID-19.  Please be safe, and we look forward to welcoming students back to our site locations very soon.

Effective immediately, candidates can reschedule up to and including the day of testing at no penalty and no documentation required. NOTE: In most cases, candidates can reschedule their examinations on-line and they are encouraged to do so. If a candidate chooses to reschedule through our candidate support call center, they may experience longer than usual wait times under the current circumstances.

Candidates that are a part of an eligibility program will be provided guidance if a new eligibility is required in order to reschedule and how to obtain it.

PSI is obtaining guidance from clients to support and accommodate candidates who must test within a specified period.

  • All reschedule rules and no show policies are relaxed through April 30th.
  • If you are unable to make your exam and you are reported as a no-show you will be allowed to reschedule at no cost.
  • In the event that there are restrictions based on eligibility periods or test windows we will work on options with your examination sponsor.
  • Candidates are encouraged to reschedule on-line. If a candidate chooses to reschedule through PSI’s Candidate Call Center, they can expect to have longer than usual wait times. Call Centers are open: 5:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. PDT M-F, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. PDT Sat-Sun.

Priority Operations Message

Over the last few days, we’re received many questions at the Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing (Division) concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19). Many are wondering how this public health emergency may affect our ability to provide your expected customer service. The Division, our Boards and Commissions are following the recommended, and directed, steps necessary to keep business moving while safeguarding our staff and the public. To help stop the community spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), our office will no longer be accepting walk-in customers for the time being. We will continue to process applications and issue licenses according to the priorities below. If your renewal is due any time in the next 60 days, please use our online service, if you have completed all 30 hours of CE at least 14 days before your due date, please use our online service to renew. Remember, all required education is available online. We know many of you have questions around what we will or won’t do with expired applications, late renewals, and other potential situations. Please stay tuned for additional information on areas we will be relaxing or seeking legislative relief. Life as we know it is changing almost minute by minute. Hang in there with us!

  4. New license applications (NOTE: many fingerprinting vendors are closed or closing)
  5. Credentials printed and mailed when practicable
