Hondros Family of Companies Receives Recognition as one of Central Ohio’s Healthiest Employers

On March 10, 2015, Hondros Family of Companies received recognition as one of Central Ohio’s Healthiest Employers.

The company was honored at the Columbus Business First’s Third Annual Healthiest Employers of Central Ohio Awards Program & Expo. Presented by OhioHealth, sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and branded by Delta Dental.

Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories: culture & leadership, foundational components, strategic planning, communication & marketing, programming & interventions and reporting & analysis.

The breakfast & expo provided the opportunity to explore different health and wellness exhibits that offer great incentives to promote a healthy lifestyle to both employees and employers.

The awards portion of the event honored the companies who were finalists in the Healthiest Employers program. Categories were based on small, medium and large size companies and all category winners were announced in ranking order. Keynote speaker Dr. Vanderhoff from OhioHealth presented an informative and engaging discussion on how to improve the health of our community.
