Hondros College Announces Merger with Realty Continuing Education

News

Hondros College and Realty Continuing Education announced today they have signed a merger agreement. The two continuing education companies have a strong reputation for providing quality education.

Hondros College and Realty Continuing Education will create a new partnership capitalizing on the longstanding history these two companies provide in real estate continuing education. Realty Continuing Education will merge under the Hondros name.

“Realty Continuing Education has been a continuing education provider across the state of Ohio and has built a strong reputation and relationship with real estate licensees. We are excited to incorporate their coursework and instructors at Hondros College of Business,” said Tina Lapp, president of Hondros College. “We are looking forward to continuing to work with students across Ohio as Realty Continuing Education and Hondros College have done over the years.”

Founded in 1998 by CEO Marlene Marsee, Realty Continuing Education was launched to teach continuing education and share Marlene’s knowledge of real estate laws from her years in the real estate industry.  Al Batteiger joined the company as President in 2011 to assist with the education and instruction. Over the years, thousands of students received continuing education credits at locations throughout Ohio. Marlene will serve as last emeritus and Al is joining the Hondros College team as a full time faculty member, faculty advisor and trainer.

“I always admired Hondros College and I also admired what we (Realty Continuing Education) accomplished in the industry,” said Marlene Marsee. “I thought Hondros College was a great company to merge with and I’m looking forward to working with such a great educational institution in the years to come.”
