Hondros College Announces Expert Speaker Series

Hondros College is pleased to welcome Scott Phillips Jr., who was recently recognized by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) as one of real estate’s 30 Under 30, to its inaugural speech for the expert speaker series at its Columbus and Cleveland campuses this April.

Hondros College will host Phillips at the Columbus campus on Monday, April 22 and the Cleveland campus on Wednesday, April 24. The seminars are free, open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m.

“Through the expert speaker series, Hondros College strives to offer additional resources to the Ohio workforce. We’re excited to give back to the community with the expert speaker series, kicking off with real-world advice from a successful, local REALTOR®,” said Katie Poling, operations coordinator at Hondros. “As one of REALTOR® Magazine’s 30 Under 30, Phillips provides valuable insight about succeeding in today’s housing market and offers important real world tips for success in sales in real estate that can also be applied to other industries.”

Phillips opens the expert speaker series with, “Top Skills The Most Successful Salespeople Know,” which highlights time management, how inventory impacts income, separating lookers from buyers and mastering dialogue selling.

“I’ve always had a real passion for growing and improving the area I lived in, downtown Cleveland,” said Phillips. “My career in real estate grew from my passion for my community, and it’s an honor to address the local community to share some of the knowledge I’ve gained as a successful real estate agent in Ohio.”

Phillips is a 2005 graduate of Ohio State University and currently works as a REALTOR® in Cleveland. He took his real estate pre-licensing education at Hondros College. Phillips was also named one of Inside Business Magazine’s Top 25 under 35.
