Hondros College Personal Fitness Certification Course Receives Approval From National Council on Strength and Fitness

Hondros College formally announced today it is an approved training provider for the National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF). Hondros College students who complete the Personal Fitness Certification Course and NCSF examination now receive NCSF certification and membership in addition to Hondros College PFiT Certification.

The Hondros College Personal Fitness Certification Course is a 32-hour course offered over two consecutive weekends or over four weeks by attending classes two evenings per week. The classes offer a combination of classroom-style learning and live instruction with nationally recognized, certified personal trainers. Upon course completion, students are prepared to begin their own personal training business, work for a gym or pursue additional industry credentials. Hondros College students who complete the Personal Fitness Certification Course receive NCSF certification and membership, in addition to the Hondros College PFiT Certification.

“At Hondros College, students can achieve their goals of starting their own personal training business or working at a gym as a trainer,” said Hondros College President, Tina Lapp. “Becoming an approved training provider for the National Council on Strength and Fitness gives Hondros College students an additional credential that is very highly regarded in the personal training industry.”

Hondros College students who complete the Hondros College Personal Fitness Certification Course plus successfully complete the NCSF certification exam will enjoy exclusive benefits and professional support from the NCSF. Benefits include personal training tools, a personal trainer app, a health insurance program, a professional liability insurance program, access to a career center, discounts on training equipment and a member identification card.

Hondros College will hold multiple open house events across Ohio for students to learn more about a rewarding career in fitness. During events, prospective students will have a chance to meet personal training instructors and engage in a question and answer session about a career in personal training.

All open house events are presentation-style and begin at 5:00 p.m. and continue until 6:30 p.m.
